Eagle Lake in Acadia National Park is so gorgeous. I have hiked and biked around this lake many times. If you are biking, go around this lake counter clockwise. If you are hiking, also go counter clockwise. If you are biking from Eagle to Bubble Pond, go clockwise around the lake. If you plan to bike to Jordan Pond from Eagle Lake, I recommend that you also go clockwise which will take you by the Wildwood Stables and you will definitely see many horses. Horses are not allowed on the carriage roads beside Eagle Lake. If you have any questions about Acadia National Park and want suggestions about visiting the park, please feel free to contact me. I have been visiting this amazing National Park for about thirty years and know a lot about this heaven on earth!!
