Description
Look closely at this day lily. The flowers are about to open, but what attracted me to this plant were the tiny water droplets and the remains of a spider web. The silky spider web strands are barely visible connecting the top of the plant to the branch that sticks out to the left. I absolutely love the water droplets scattered all over the plant. You see it had been a rainy, foggy day on Mount Desert Island and the remains of the weather appeared all over the beautiful flowers. I really love the water droplet at the very tip of the largest bud. It's just about to drop off, but I captured it in time!
