Description
Naturally, when I first saw this photograph, I immediately thought, "Wow, this looks like Claude Monet's Lily Pad painting." It isn't, but it reminds me of my most favorite impressionist painter. This photograph was taken in Acadia National Park on Long Pond, which is surrounded by a lovely carriage road that people walk along. The light is hitting the pond perfectly that reflects the blue sky and the white clouds overhead. I love the changing pigment of the lily pads. Their pink, yellow and green tones pop out from the blue water. If you are a Claude Monet fan, this would be perfect for your collection.
I have updated this photograph to make it look like a painting. Now it looks like Monet did pay us a visit in Maine!
