One rule we have while on vacation is eat as the locals eat. So we dined at the Old Ebbitt Grill in Washington D.C. It is located at 675 15th St NW, Washington, DC 20005 and is one of the BEST restaurants that I have ever been for fortunate to experience. I would go back to D.C just for this amazing restaurant! In this photograph, you can see that we started with an amazing cheese platter. They arranged the cheese on a rustic, yet appealing slate platter. The darkness of the slate illuminated the different varieties of cheese! It was so yummy!!! As I sit here, writing about my experience, I am seriously salivating and wishing that I could be enjoying this platter right now. Road trip anyone?
