Description
Just love taking photos of the eclectic people how live here in Boston. This lovable gentleman was crossing the street when the rest of us were waiting for the crossing signal to change. He was just going about his business and didn't see any reason why he shouldn't cross the road before the rest of us. There weren't any cars coming and in my mind's eye, he was just exercising his free will and pragmatism. It was a practical time to cross the road without any encumbrances. Love his attitude. The woman across the street was wearing an expression of concern and indigence that I had a difficult time interpreting. Is she perturbed that I have the audacity to take a photo of the gentleman and her? Or is she annoyed that he is crossing the road at the improper time? In any case, I think that this is a great photo that will spark conversation and intriguing ideas.
