Description
Beehive Mountain is one of the few hikes that I will not attempt. I don't want to scare anyone, but it's very steep and the trail is very narrow. But the view of the Beehive from Sand Beach is magnificent! I love the Beehive stream that runs in front of the mountain out to the Atlantic Ocean on Sand Beach! The water is usually very warm, unlike the ocean just a few steps away, which is very cold! I love the red sediment in the stream contrasting with the greenery and the blue summer sky! Not sure if I will make it up to Acadia this summer due to Covid 19, so I will have to relive my camping trip from last summer through my photos!
