The iconic Bass Harbor Lighthouse in Bass Harbor Maine is a photographer's favorite place to capture that quintessential New England scene. To have high tide and sunset at the same time, photographers from all over Mount Desert Island, clamor for that perfect shot. I think that even in black and white, the sunset's effect is revealed. It was a perfect evening for that perfect shot!
