Description
Walking along Maine Beaches at any time of year is very gratifying. The waves have created moguls in the sand. March was surprisingly warm this year which is when this photograph was taken on Popham Beach in Phippsburg Maine. I love the sky reflecting in the land locked water pools. The lighthouse in the back ground and the rough surf adds to the traditional feeling on being on one of Maine's finest beaches.

So so stunning, Liz! Love the golden patterns made by the waves. I didn't realize these were called 'moguls.' Thanks and Congratulations on your feature in Scenes from a Beach !~ l/f

Thank you Dianne! I just called the moguls. I am not sure what to call them. They just reminded me of moguls we see when skiing.
