Description
The Bubbles, as people call them, are two mountains in Acadia National Park overlooking Jordan Pond. They can be seen here in the distance with the majestic Jordan Pond in the foreground. This year was Acadia's Centennial celebration. The crowds were intense. What bothered me the most about the crowds is that they, or the groups that I saw anyway, did not seem to follow the water reservoir rules that we and the seasoned tourists do follow. Each day that we hiked or biked by many of these bodies of water, people were walking through them and even swimming. This water is drinking water and along the paths and trails, there are many signs asking people not to enter the water. Why do people think that rules are for others but not for them? Anyway, now that I have said my peace about that, I sincerely hope that you visit Jordan Pond, climb the Bubbles, but please do NOT swim in the pond. Thanks so much!

The foreground of this image is so interesting! I'm afraid those rocks and grasses upstaged the Bubbles on my first view! v
