Description
The Otter Creek Bridge on the Park Loop Road inside Acadia National Park is an engineering marvel. This bridge connects the two sides of Otter Creek, which is a tidal creek. I love how we can see the water line on the bridge. The tide comes up very high, and provides a habitat for many sea creatures in which to live safely and prosper. This is an iconic bridge and one that you really must visit while visiting Acadia. It's part of the one way direction on the Park Loop Road and you must have a park pass to drive down this one way street. It's well worth the twenty dollars for the weekly pass to see all the wondrous, scenic sights of Acadia National Park.
