Description
I have visited Acadia National Park hundreds of times. It is beautiful in all seasons, but I will say that Autumn is the best time to visit Acadia. The colors of the leaves are so lush and vibrant. The water is crisp blue and contrasts so beautifully with the changing colors. I love this shot. This was taken on the top of Sargent Mountain Carriage Road. Looking down at Somes Sound, Bar Island, and Somesville with the Somesville Pond in the background is amazing. Our campground is located just the right of Bar Island. I have gone swimming at the Bar at low tide and kayaked over it at high tide! This is the land that I love!
